Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What toe should I wear my ring on?  Which is most comfortable?

A: Most people wear their toe ring on the second toe (next to the big toe), in the center, just below or at the first joint.  The wide toe pad keeps the toe ring on, buyer must use some pressure and moisture to slide the ring over the pad, so that it slips nicely in place.

Q:  How do I get a fitted toe ring on my toe?

A: A fitted toe ring might be a bit difficult to get over the tip of the toe, but when on, should rest comfortably at the center knuckle. Start by sliding the ring over the widest part of the toe in a rocking back and forth motion, pressing the ring from side to side.

Q:  Will I lose my toe ring?

A: Not if it goes on smugly over the toe pad.  If you don’t have a pronounced toe pad, you might remove the ring before swimming.

Q:  Will a sterling silver toe ring change color on me?

A: Very rarely.  Some people have acidic skin that could affect your skin or ring color.  Also if using a pool or spa with high chemical content.  If this happens, try cleaning with our Fancy Feet toes sparkly toe cloth.

Q:  What is the difference between gold plated and gold filled rings?

A: Gold plated rings have the gold “electroplated” on top of silver, where the gold will eventually wear off.  Gold filled rings have the gold mixed with the other metals, so the gold will never lose its color.

Q:  How do I remove my toe rings?

A: Non-adjustable toe rings are so comfortable, it’s not necessary to take them off to bathe, swim or run.  When you are ready to remove them, remove ring combinations one at a time using Fancy Feet Toes Secret Slide.

Q:  Do kids wear toe rings?

A:     Yes, but growing kids will want to check their toe rings periodically to make sure that their feet are not    growing so fast that the toe ring becomes a permanent bodily fixture.  Give the ring a couple of turns and make sure that it sill moves around freely.  Tight rings should be removed with using our Secret Slide.
